What is MonuMENTAL?
Aspinwall Church has partnered with Mind Your Business Inc. (MYB), a Mental Health & Faith Organization. As of 2023, we have a Mental Health support program entitled "Monumental Monday." Monumental Monday is a Mental Health group program on the first Monday of every month. It is designed to raise awareness to the mental health crisis in our nation as well as explore and encourage Mental Health Wellness and faith.
We believe this is a vital ministry and community support. Our church is dedicated to our community as well as the members of our church. This program is offered to anyone who wishes to attend.
We offer 1:1 sessions for individuals who are seeking help. These are scheduled at the convenience of those who need this additional support.
Our goal is to reduce the stigma between mental health and the church, connect our community to 1:1 meetings, group meetings, and offer a safe-space for those who are hurting, feel alone, and provide hope.
Our mission is to provide a safe-space for those seeking to learn about mental health and gain support they need to navigate through personal or familial crisis. We are committed to increasing awareness, enhancing knowledge, and promoting mental health and wellness.
Our vision is to develop a community where individuals facing mental health challenges feel supported, empowered, and safe. We aim to maintain an environment of peace, safety, compassion, acceptance, and hope. This environment allows a judgement-free space for people to share their experiences, seek guidance and offer interventions to help during crisis moments.
